Typology: Flowers And Their Shadows

I chose flowers and specifically arranged them to appear bleak and lifeless, in contrast to the usual depiction of flowers which hails them as lively signs of rejuvenation. The reason this interested me was because when a flower is picked (usually for its petals or scent to be enjoyed), it is killed - and when I was thinking about using flowers for my typology, this thought struck me and I decided to portray the flowers with a feeling similar to how a dead human might be shown: gaunt, dark, blue, ominous, etc….

Same place, similar perspectives, different seasons
